FREEPORT – The Maine Golf Hall of Fame is proud to announce the class of 2024. Four (4) nominees will be inducted this year at the Poland Spring Resort on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The inductees are as follows:
The Maine Golf Hall of Fame was founded in 1993 to recognize and honor Maine's outstanding individuals who excelled in the great game of golf, whether as a player, coach, benefactor, executive or a person who has made a major impact on the game.
The total number of inductees will reach 153 since inception. There were 29 nominations for the Hall this year. The Maine Golf Hall of Fame is located in the famous Maine State Building on the grounds of Poland Spring Resort.

The Maine Golf Hall of Fame was founded in 1993 by Vern Putney, Carmen Pettapiece, Dick Doyle and Joseph Stillman, to recognize and honor Maine's outstanding individuals who excelled in the great game of golf, whether as a player, coach, benefactor, executive or a person who has made a major impact on the game.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Maine Golf Hall of Fame has an exhibit at the Maine State Building on the grounds of the Poland Spring Resort and Golf Club. We wish to thank Cyndi Robbins and the Poland Spring Resort for being such a gracious host of the history of Maine golf.
